Let's get to blogging!

This seems like a good enough time to start blogging - for real. 

For this first shop blog, I'd like to talk about some shop updates as well as the shop future. 

As far as updates go, we got some cute new raccoon and fox designs popping up on bookmarks and coasters. I would really like to keep manufactured UV resistant stickers (see below) at Saltbirch.com and Etsy, so they will be coming later. However, these designs are perfect for cozying up with a hot mug of what-you-like and a good book or even movie night! 

Speaking of mugs - I have a mug press and blanks but still don't know what exactly to put on them. Do you have any requests? 

Today I made some stew and took a bowl to the 72 year old neighbor. It wasn't the best stew, but he never fight me on these things and happily takes whatever I cook. He's the best neighbor ever, however, as with me working two jobs he enjoys coming over and taking care of my yard. It was a chilly rainy day and any soup sounded good. 

Also ordered a small amount of groceries from Walmart. For 12$ a month they'll waive the delivery fee. As much as I am not really happy about their practice of taking over and dominating food deserts and a few other things - the service sure is useful. I've also found that I don't impulse buy. Everything that gets delivered is exactly what I wanted. 

The other project today was to get the laminated option for classic bookmarks up. Back when I printed them in house they were all laminated, and seemed to do pretty well. I'm excited to be able to bring you this option again! 

Oh, and sticker club orders will be going out hopefully on Monday - I need to update the sender address as I hadn't yet from the move. 

Time to go make some bread pudding and find a movie before bed. Hope you have a great week!
